I am an ecologist and conservation biologist, concerned with working at the intersection of science and informed policy for biodiversity conservation, ecosystem services, and effective human-wildlife coexistence. Most recently, I completed my PhD at the City University of New York and received a National Geographic Explorer Grant (2019). My doctoral research focused on vertebrate scavenger communities and the human-scavenger relationship across a vast biome gradient in South Asia.
